Captain Dan Gordon
Captain Dan is a US Coast Guard Licensed Captain
with 20 years fishing experience and a degree in Marine
Biology from UNC WIlmington. He has been running
boats in New Jersey and North Carolina for 15 years,
and in Raritan Bay and surrounding fisheries since
2003.  He has fished all species, in-bay, inshore and
offshore waters. Captain Dan's specialty is saltwater fly
fishing, casting to fish in Belize, Florida and right here
in New Jersey.

What we do
Skinny Drifter Charters offers custom light tackle and
fly fishing trips in Raritan Bay and Inshore waters off
of Sandy Hook, NJ.  We specialize in multiple species
trips and can customize each trip to your desired species
and skill level.

Gear:Your charter includes all the equipment you'll need
to put you on those fish, including the highest quality
Shimano Rods and Reels, Orvis Fly Rods/Reels and
tackle by Sufix, Berkely Gulp!, Calcutta,  D.O.A. and
Storm Lure Co.

Location
We sail from Brown's Point Marina in Historic Keyport, NJ.   
We are only minutes from Raritan Bay and a short 20
minute run to Sandy Hook recreation area.

History
Skinny Drifter Charters began as a fly fishing only guide
service in 2003.  We operated a 21' Fly Fish rigged
Carolina Skiff Sea Chaser.  In April of 2005, we added
the 24' Sailfish CC to take advantage of the spectacular
striped bass and inshore fishing that has returned in the
last few years.
